Healthy Ragi bopattu instructions

  1. Whole wheat flour, pinch of salt mix with water make smooth dough and keep a side.
  2. Ragi flour mix with water as thick liquid consistency. Keep pan on stove after heating add ragi mix into pan stir continuously if u stop lumps will form.
  3. Add jaggery grater mix well. Cook for 2mins. pour ghee 2 tbsp and next add coconut grater, cardomom powder, dry nuts powder mix well till it becomes dough.
  4. Take it in plate let it cool and make a small balls like in pics.
  5. Keep griddle on stove..
  6. Divide dough in equal portion. Press like small chapati and stuff ragi balls in it and make a bopattu.
  7. Place it on the hot griddle. Flip it on another side after few secs. Apply ghee and cook from both sides untill golden brown.
  8. Repeat this process with rest of the dough balls.
  9. Serve hot hot ragi bopattu with honey (if u like).
